Personal Assistant to Nigel Brooks Chartered Patent Agent

This small professional office with 3 fee earners and 2 support staff is looking for a versatile person to assist with the running of the office.

We file patent applications on a worldwide basis for an international clientele and have done so for many years, in a delightful rural location.

This is a part time position, 9.30am til 2.30pm Monday to Friday. Competitive salary. Own transport is essential.

It covers all aspects of normal office work from handling a large volume of mail, to keeping track of long running cases. The boss has interests outside patents, including cars, cows and responsibility for a fishery so the work is very varied, with seldom a dull moment.

We think this position would suit a self-motivated individual who is looking to be part of a small, friendly and busy IP team.  Particular skills required are Microsoft Office, diary management, invoicing, excellent ability to prioritise with good organisational and communication skills.
